Texas Pumpkin Pecan Roll recipe

Ingredients

Roll
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup Pumpkin Pie filling
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp  baking powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp  pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup Texas Pecans
Filling
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

CAKE PREPARATION
Beat eggs slightly, add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in pumpkin filling and mix well
Add dry ingredients Line a Kaiser ExtraordinAire 10x15 jelly roll pan with wax paper. Pour batter into pan and sprinkle with nuts Bake 375 for 15 minutes. When roll is done sprinkle with powdered sugar and flip roll onto a cheesecloth dusted with powdered sugar Peel off wax paper Roll up in cheesecloth and cool to help form shape Once cool, frost with filling - Roll up and place seam side down. Cut with a serrated blade
FILLING PREPARATION
Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and butter until creamy - mix in vanilla.
