Ingredients
Crust
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 6 Tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
- 3 Tablespoons granulated sugar
Filling
- 3 8-ounce pkgs cream cheese, softened
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping
- 1 21-ounce can cherry pie filling
Instructions
Lightly butter the sides and bottom of a 9" springform pan. Chill in refrigerator until ready to use. 1. Using a fork or pastry cutter, blend all crust ingredients together in small bowl until well mixed. 2. Press mix firmly against bottom and sides of a 9" springform pan. 3. Using low speed on a mixer, cream together sugar and cream cheese from filling ingredients. 4. Add eggs one at a time and beat well into mixture. 5. Add vanilla and lightly beat until well blended. 6. Pour filling into crust and bake until set. 7. Chill thoroughly. At least 2 hours before slicing. 8. Garnish outer top edge of cake or completely cover cake top with pie filling. BAKING TIME: 40-50 minutes
