Gertie's Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe

Temperature: 375 ° F

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 Cups Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon  Baking Soda
  • 1 Teaspoon  Salt
  • 1 Cup Plugra Butter, Softened
  • 3/4 Cup Bakers Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar, Firmly Packed
  • 1 Teapsoon  Vanilla
  • 1 Pinch Cinnamon
  • 2  Eggs
  • 12 Ounces Milk Chocolate Chips

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 Degrees F.
In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon,and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, combine the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla; beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add the flour mixture; mix well. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop dough in rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet (best if you use a Silpat as well). Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
