Double Sauced Decadent White Chocolate Bread Pudding recipe

Temperature: 350 ° F

Ingredients

White Chocolate Bread Pudding
  • 1 lb loaf French bread, cut into 3/4" cubes
  • 4 cups milk
  • 3  eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 (4 oz). pkg. , divided in half white chocolate chips or chopped white choclate bar
  • 1/2 cup  butter, melted
Butter Rum Sauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 teaspoon  vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon rum flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon butter flavoring
White Chocolate Kahlua Sauce
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 4 oz. white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup Kahlua

Instructions

Heat oven to 350. Butter a 9x13 pan. Place chopped French bread in pan. Mix milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla and white chocolate chips. Pour over bread.Use hand to press down in pan. Pour melted butter over top. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
While baking make sauces as follows:
Butter Rum Sauce:
Heat 1/2 cup sugar in dry pan until melted and browned to a caramel color, stirring constantly. Add half and half and stir until smooth. Add butter,vanilla, rum flavoring and butter flavoring. Stir until smooth.
White Chocolate Kahlua Sauce:
Heat 1 cup hlaf and half to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in 4 oz. white chocolate chips. Mix until smooth. Stir in Kahlua .
Serve pudding warm with both sauces spooned on top.
