PRESS TWO-THIRDS OF THE DOUGH INTO THE BOTTOM OF THE PREPARED PAN. BAKE IN PRE-HEATED OVEN FOR 15 MINUTES. WHILE DOUGH IS BAKING PREPARE FILING. IN MEDIUM BOWL, USE ELECTRIC MIXER ON MEDIUM SPEED TO CREAM TOGETHER THE CREAM CHEESE, SUGAR & CORNSTARCH UNTIL SMOOTH & CREAMY, ABOUT 2 MINUTES. NEXT, ON LOW SPEED, MIX IN 1 EGG & CHERRY JUICE. BLEND WELL, UNTIL NO STREAKS REMAIN. BY HAND, STIR IN CHERRIES & NUTS. EVENLY SPREAD OVER DOUGH IN PAN. BREAK REMAINING DOUGH INTO SMALL PIECES & COVER FILING AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. PRESS DOWN GENTLY BAKE 35 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN & FIRM TO THE TOUCH, IN THE CENTER. CHILL 2 HOURS, THEN CUT INTO 16 BARS. SERVES 16
